Certified Green Professional

I believe in using engineered wood products such as LVLs, Micro LAMS, I-joists, Trus Joists, Advantech Floorboards and other state of the art materials. I believe the use of these environmentally smart products make for a better home as they are stronger and straighter than dimensional lumber and also minimize shrinkage, squeaks and cracks in wood flooring, etc. I am a strong proponent of the latest technologies in spray foam insulations that can save substantial amounts of energy (and money)!

Renovations & Additions

Atlanta Area Building & Remodeling is prepared make just about any renovation to your home, including kitchens, bathrooms, tile, decks, basements (and everything in between).

Commitment to Quality

My reputation as a builder of quality homes and remodels is something that is very important to me. There are very few good shortcuts in life, and that goes the same in construction. Saving a dollar could cost you two. I have developed relationships with some very good people who care about their work, and take pride in the jobs they do. These are people who I can count on and will continue to use.

Service Areas

Atlanta, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Duluth, Norcross, Lawrenceville, Dunwoody, Doraville, Lilburn, Tucker, Snellville, Loganville, Stone Mountain, Decatur, Woodstock, Kennesaw, Marietta, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Vinings, Mableton, Austell, Stockbridge, McDonough, Fayetville, Conyers, Peachtree City, Brookhaven, and Buckhead (and anywhere in between).

Energy Efficient Practices

I am a ENERGY STAR partner. What this means to you is that your home will be at least 30% more energy efficient than the model energy code requires. This is achieved by building a tighter envelope, using better insulation, windows, high efficiency heating and cooling systems, among other things. It also means monthly savings on utilities that can amount to hundreds of dollars a year, while being environmentally friendly. Compliance with ENERGY STAR requirements is verified by independent inspectors. I have taken classes given by the National Association of Home Builders to be accredited as a Certified Green Professional, and a Certified Graduate Builder, and have learned about all in the latest building technologies
